Got a little more work done on the bug this weekend. I was able to remove the hinge pin from the top hinge but the lower hinge is another story. Moral of the story is that i am going to have to drill out the rivets that hold the hinge to the door. I got a little excited with the hammer and made a bad situation worse.

I still need to determine what to do with the convertible. I am going to keep a few parts off of it but don't know what to do with the rest. I am unsure if I should part it out or sell it whole. Suggestions? It needs quite a bit of rust repair.

What happen to that fancy garage you made?

Got bulldozed.

No turning back now. I am going to try and find a welding machine to borrow and get the pans welded in this week. Moving along nicely.

Got my putt around engine cleaned up this evening. I am going to start collecting parts to build a "Big" engine.



I also need to decide what decklid I am going to use. I am leaning towards the vert decklid. I like the way the look. In the meantime they make for some pretty good wall art.

Trying to decide what to do about the drivers side rear quarter. I knew the car had been wrecked at some point. Its not too bad. I am thinking I will get a repair panel and replace it rather than try and straighten. Should be an easy repair. The build would be going a lot quicker if I had my welding machine. Oh well, it will be here at Thanksgiving.
