Ok, started cleaning up around the pans and digging the tons of silicone out to start fixing all the welds that did not hold from the PO. Finally just realized he did not do a good job. Seems the pans were welded in to far back. He bent them to make them fit and they were still rubbing on the rear suspension. SO, ripped them out and I am putting in new ones!(anyone want to help out?)

Got the pans out, cleaned up the tunnel and started cleaning the decades of dried up grease, oil and dirt off the frame horns.
So, where is the best place to get quality pans? I checked out the ones in Sid Fishous's bug and they are QUALITY! Forgot where you got them though. Do seat tracks come on them? The pass seat track closest to the tunel on these pans was just about all the way loose from the pan.

Where the Po bent and mangled the pans to keep them from rubbing on the rear suspension.........they were still rubbing.
