Here are some belated Halloween pixs for ya'll.
The Bug is in front of the former Traverse City State Hospital, also known as the Michigan Asylum for the Insane. The 135-acre complex was established in 1885. It closed in 1989. It is the last Victorian-Kirbride Building of Michigan's original four structures left in the state.
I'm parked in front of the unrestored section of the massive Building 50. The other half of 50 has been renovated (multi-millions). It has trendy shops, a killer Italian restaurant and condos -if you like living where insane people once stayed.
There is an underground tunnel that runs between buildings. It was used to transport sick and dead patients ... it's a very cool and somewhat creepy place.

I'll probably put the Bug away for winter this weekend. I have some spring projects in mind: new headliner, trim work, pan rust/patch work, new ceramic or stainless exhaust, and further fine tune work on the Webers

.
Better see if I can get the old Ski-Doo started ... it will snow soon enough.
