well we painted the first coat of the black and it sucks. I just hope the second coat turns out better. the silver first coat looked awesome and thats what we are comparing it to. you cant tell in the pics but the paint went on real thin and started to dry with small bubbles appearing on the top. I thought that maybe I didnt mix it well enough but after mixing for several minutes it had the same outcome.

I haven't read all 125 pages of the famous Dug Bug yet

Before I lay the black down I'll ask Doug how he did his, and do it a different way  I'm really after the primer, I got a super crusty sunroof section that I want to breathe life back into.

I have been watching a couple of build threads on the samba and they all rant and rave about how great MS is, and from the pics theirs all turned out better then POR15.

He had some issues ... but I've read good stuff too. I thought about it because it is cheaper . I can't remember I think it was a little easier in it does not need to be on bare metal..

Wayne thought you would dig this. 2 inch narrowed beam, drop spindles. Your wheels with 135s and 185s I think....

the only problem I had was air bubbles, I waited a day or two, maybe wait a week to let it cure? this was between the silver coat and the black coat
