Well, progress has been slow, but got a few things done. Gave up on the wire wheel and got the frame sand blasted. Got one CV axle rebuilt with new boots. Hope to have the frame painted and start rebuilding it this week. Things have been slow since I have been working 6 days a week.

Top axle is the one I just finished. Bottom one is up next!

A heat gun or someway of appling heat will help in getting that tar layers off the tunnel. Looks good !! ... did sand get into the tunnel?

I left the tar board on the tunnel on the top to glue the carpet to. There was more further down and when i started cutting it away the paint under it was perfect, so I decided to stop removing it. Not sure how much sand got in the tunnel. I plan to stand it on end and flush it out before painting.

I have been happy with POR15 so far. It has been my first time using it. I have so much it would be a waste to get something else.

Only thing to be carefull is to not put it on too thick... It will leave rough spots where it gasses out. Better to do a couple light layers .

Don't pay attention to the Por Hater... w:pw
