What are the advantages of running those drums?

They are bigger and stop better, plus the are lighter and can be polished to a mirror shine.

Eh. In our case, the car brakes just fine. You can't see the drums with smoothies anyways

Hey kostya did you ever figure out that tachometer issue???? I have yet to see any problems with mine.

Nope. The needle is still all over the place. I don't know why it's doing that.

I started pulling apart the motor to pull it out. The flywheel needs resurfacing, something I should have done while I had it out before :help:

. It's chattering a lot when taking off in first.

Sounds like a couple of us spent some of Father's day working on the bugs. Keep us posted.

sounds like maybe a grounding issue? or possibly a bad tach? I would borrow a tach and hook it up and see if it does the same thing if it does then go from there such as checking your power source

The motor is now out and flywheel pulled off. I'll take the flywheel to a machine shop sometime this week.

Motor is now back in the car and ready to go. Tomorrow morning we're going to fire it up and see how it feels with the resurfaced flywheel. :help:
