I was driving home from a job at 290 and Clay. Up hempstead and then up Windfern. Saw this bug on Hempstead. Its a Super Beetle. Then I was on Windfern and Saw this Bus. The bus was clean. typical damage on a forty year old car but NO RUST that I could find. He wants 8500. He also hase five bugs (Supers) for sale in various conditions, one is a vert. He wants 4500 for the yellow bug in the background (to much).

So I spent the day working on the car scraping and scraping and ...... Had enough. I take the tires to a small tire shop by the house to switch the tires onto stock rims so I can scrape on the faux eight spoke Empis and i can still roll the pan around. I am pulling out of the tire shop and I see a yellow Combi. The guy turns about a block from the tire shop so I follow him. he disappears into a neighborhood and then suddenly I see the Combi parked in the center of the yard under a portable tarp. Why is it in the center of the yard you ask? BECAUSE THERE ARE AT LEAST THREE BUSES AND SIX BUGS IN THE DRIVEWAY!!!!! The buses hide the rest of the yard that has even more cars and a fence covers everything from the other side. All were so well covered that I could not tell years, types or anything about them. They are all very well covered from top to bottom. Then, I see an old man unloading groceries from the Combi. I go to the corner, turn around and come back to the house and he is nowhere to be found. Couldn't bring myself to knock on the door. If you look close in the photo you can see the tarps over the buses just over the bugs in the front. I know there has to be something very good in the yard. Going to have to work up the nerve to knock on the door.
