My brother-in-law dropped the trailer load of crap off at the house, so I was showing him the foundry. He didn't quite understand how the greensand worked so I gave him a demo. From start to finish, one hour later I had another shift knob cast :dance:

I'm going to try to fire that motor up tomorrow...I hope I remember the firing order of a 009, and how to make a carb work :furious: If it's a runner then I'll have a sweet spare or maybe it's time for another type 3 :dance:

woah?! what motor? did I miss a post? oh, guess the stalker has been a little busy and I did miss a post. hey nick, i'm a notch (and Vw) challenged. Is the link notch a chop top job or are there convertible notches, or yes there are convertible but hat me is a chop top? cuz I think it's really cool an may jump in with a bid or two.
