A little more progress. Got the front end almost back together and the rear is coming along!

I am just about ready to install the new e-brake cables and the hard lines to the rear calipers. I need a little help on the routing for both. Does this guy have it right?

http://www.huelsmann.us/bugman/Rear_Disc_Tech.html

Also, my passenger side tie rod is sitting on the tunel. I have the steering gear box on and it does not look like the pass side tierod will connect without hitting the tunnel. Maybe I have the gear box at the wrong angle or is it the beam? I have never dealt with narrowed & adjustable beams before.

You need to account for the weight of the body on the car. Right now it is bottomed out. (or actually upped out) When the body in on and all of the other equipment the geometry will be different. The springs will have some tension and it should clear.

Clay,

That looks so cool! And I like the disc brakes on all four corners!

Did you get a narrowed beam? If so, how much was it narrowed?

I ended up with a 4 inch narrowed beam. I am thinking I may have gone too narrow, but we will see. Thanks for the compliments. I am not making progress as fast as I would like, but I am trying to take my time and do everything to the best of my ability this time. The rear disc are kind of over kill I guess since I am running a 1600, but I hate adjusting drum brakes and I plan to have a bigger engine in it one day.
