So I pulled one of the heads off that 1.7L type 4 motor and had a look at them. Looks like it was freshened up fairly recently, no carbon buildup, and almost no wear on the rings and cylinders. I only got one head off and no cracks plus somebody put new valves on it. New rings and a light honing so far looks like all it's going to need. When I get a chance I'll pull the other head and the lifters. I think this thing is going to be a perfect spare motor for me :dance:
