They are called a bumper bar. Empi I believe first started makeing them, and I believe they were both for looks as well as a little protection. I think they are kinda neat personally.

Where did you find that Bus picture? Looks like something I shot last year.

I shot a whole bunch of Photos last year of single cabs. This is one of them. Made it my B Card.
