Hey Donnie, I wouldn't use that fatmat on any vertical surfaces or the roof, it's asphalic based and will melt and ooze http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/archiv ... 155--.html when it gets hot it smells like shit too. I got 5sqft of eastwoods thermoqustic stuff to test on new firewall, its butyl rubber based just like dynamat.

fatmat is the same thing as this stuff but with some added graphics http://www.hostfabrik.com/mfm/productView.aspx?id=1

I used fatmat on my bug and it fell off the roof and the doors. On my doors it fell off stuck to the window and was a pain in the a** to get off. It happened the day before I left for the classic 2 years ago. Since then I have had to take it off the passenger door. It has worked great on the floor pan and all panels on the inside. But not the doors where water gets in at times, do to one piece windows and the roof where it got the direct heat from the sun. Just my 2 cents from experience.

Looking good! And that's a great deal on the MSD box if it's still available.
