regardless what anyone says it is still bad ASS. I even thought about going that route when Ranch built my tranny, but the gains didn't offset the cost enough for me to spend the money.

There is 2 types, actual 3 types, of limited slip differentials: clutch type, helical gear type, and a hybrid version of the two. I don't know what you guys are thinking but Quaife's are definitely a LSD. My honduh came stock with a helical gear style LSD, I managed to blow it up when I was turbo'd. Ethan, I didn't just now google to tell you you guys are fucking wrong, I did tons of research a couple of years ago. 400whp FWD will have traction issues without the right diff. The one I want was $$$, plus FD, plus stronger taller gears equals $$$$$$$$$$ so I parted the turbo kit and coilovers, rebuilt the tranny with stock parts and bought my notch. No matter how badass I make that honduh it will always be a fwd civic. I hate fairy wheel drive.

Hey brother I did not need google for that. LSD is locked 100 percent of the time ATB is not therefore I dont see how you can begin to call it LSD.

LSD don't need to be locked 100% of the time, if you want that you can just weld your spider gears. I guess what you guys call a LSD is different then what everyone else calls a LSD.

Your the archbishop of google, read the Wiki on limited slip diffs. They act like open diffs until there is a difference in the torque bias between the 2 wheels. you decide what torque bias you want then buy that diff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_Sl ... _Operation

For boring straight line stuff, aka drag racing you'll want different diff then one for road racing. This principle is the same for ALL cars not just honduhs. I'm sure you have seen 1-way, 1.5-way, and 2-way diffs on gran turismo or foresa.

Anyways, none of us except Brian need a LSD.
