I can't believe that someone hasn't chimed in with. "You mean you haven's sold the car yet?" :D

Finally got to work on the Bug a bit the last couple of weekends. I replaced the rear quarter and patched the heater channel. I was also able to finish welding the pans in and got them bolted down. Moving along nicely, but slower than I would like. With oil over 100 bucks a barrel work doesn't really allow for much free time. :help:

For a temporary fix I have been painting the patched areas with Red Oxide Primer which is actually a pretty close match. Still not sure if i want to paint the entire car. We shall see.

Thinking of keeping the car looking the same but slamming it and running some twists or something similar. I also want to get some "Recaro type" seats and junk like that. I have collected almost all of the parts to put together a pretty stout 2276 and may just focus on having a car that runs and handles well then figure out where I want to go with it. Besides if I want a car to drive around in that is all shiny I will just take my Camaro. :D Guess I failed to mention that I bought a 2011 SS Camaro.

Here are a few pictures of the progress.

Got some goodies for the Bug today. I found a set of seats local and snagged them as soon as I could. They are a bit strange though. The bottoms of the seats are pretty low and they do not have any springs. Anyone know what they may be?

Also got my pedal assembly in the mail. I ordered the extended clutch shaft and boxed roller pedal from unique-parts.com. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality and fit of the parts. The rebuilt pedal assembly I ordered came drilled and taped with a grease zerk, which is a pretty neat feature.
