ghia seats?

That was my first thought, but even Ghia seats have springs in the bottom. Pattern on the upholstery is consistent with a Ghia, but that doesn't really mean anything.

At the end of the day they fit and were only $80.

I bet that unique part guy is loving us in Houston

Someone might have needed a little more room so they took the springs out to sit lower.

Did a little work on the bug today. I was able to patch the inner fender well on the passengers side and get the beam out. I have a 4" narrowed adjustable beam on the way. Getting closer to being on the road. I also started removing the spring plates so I can lower the rear of the car. Haven't decided how low I want to make the rear.
