Well the body work is again at a standstill and not much has happen since the last post

. However I took the pan over to the Bug Stop in Arlington to have the transaxle replaced and go over the the rear suspension and freshen it up. Got it back this weekend and now Kbug and me can start on the front suspension and brakes before it is returned to the body shop.

Also I have a question on the front suspension. When I got the car I noticed it was setting high in the front. The upper torque arm was resting on the bump stop. Well talking with the Bug Stop they hinted to a couple of things that may do this; 1) Using the wrong shocks; 2) The sway bar on the car is a heavy duty one and they said that this may also hold the front up.
Well, I removed the shocks and nothing happen. I removed the sway bar and still nothing happen. Of course the body isn't on the pan but as use can sort of tell in the pictures with the body on (prepurchase pics).
Is this normal and without going to an adjustable beam or drop spindles is there a way of adjustment? The Bug Stop suggested removing a couple of springs.
Thanks
