I did a little experiment with seal and peel, took some scrap sheet metal, covered one side with that stuff, and then put it in a pre-heated toaster oven. at only 100F and a couple of minutes in there it was oozing this sticky nasty tar substance all over the place...no thank you. It's too damn hot here to have to worry about that mess. It didn't smell too bad, but there was a faint aroma of freshly paved street. My custom firewall is covered in Eastwood Thermoqustic, and it lives up to the hype.

I heart bay's, and that sea blue '66 is badass :thumbs:

Yup, that looks like it could be it. I sold it to a guy named Scotty from the Dallas area. Man, his wife didn't look too happy when he was looking at it. Does it still have the bright blue engine tin?

Yeah that's me. Engine tin is now black. I put that motor in a 64 bug.My son has Blue, your old 65.. Did you move to Austin.. Looking forward to seeing you guys.. :thumbs:
