A guy that works in the next building over from me saw my Bus in the parking lot and told me he had an old VW. We started talking and he described it to me, and honestly it sounded too good to be true. He said he wanted to give it a new home, but his wife didn't want to sell. This was back in January. His price was very fair and we made a deal on the spot.

This car has been right under my nose, hiding in a local garage for the past 13 years... 3 miles from where I work..... ever since he brought it here from California. I've known this guy for about 5 years, occasionally crossing paths, but never saying anything more than "hello" to each other.

The moral of this story: DRIVE YOUR VW TO WORK!!! :thumbs:
