I only went for the chance to hang out with VW peeps, but I was secretly hoping to get the ugly duckling award. There were a couple of supers that are way uglier then the ninja notch. Maybe next year I'll brush on some pink house paint to have a better chance at winning. :hillbilly:

I voted for you best daily driver and people's choice I love your car

I think that was it for dLk....we need to get there earlier, park where people vote....in the shade! Or become members of BAVWC...if you know what I mean!

True, I could have felt that way at the classic lol. Dlk took a ton of awards at the classic. I was stoked to get the awards I did. Love the club pick one , and the best paint on a car I had to buy to win an award, lol. I still somehow think I did not have best paint, i think it was only because it's black and it does look good but not perfect. Black just brings slot of attention. I believe with out a doubt that the dlk cars are the nicest cars in the vw community.

I saw ya'll way over near the entrance and felt bad for ya'll. Really... Got to the point where we were asking folks to move their tow vehicles to make room for everyone. I will be making some changes for next year and may even put forth a vote to move back to the old site. But with that goes the parking for tow vehicles and such, that area is now closed to parking. So its a give and take, really. I will also be adding some categories to the "Best of" award as well. One being "Club Participation". BAVWC used to do this one years ago, before I came aboard. I think its time to bring it back as we have more clubs/gangs/groups/coalitions that ever... Any other suggestions, let me know... I would like to do the engine blow but the park won;t let me. Something about a fire hazard... ;)
