They were new with silicon seals and a thin layer of the hi-temp red silicon. Of the different types of engines I have put together these tubes were a pain in the butt.
Any issues with the spring loaded Empi tubes?

I did not have any issues with the one Empi spring tube I used.

Bought a set of Scat adjustable tubes. From tear down to engine start it took about hour. Of course no body makes it a lot easier. Initial engine run no leaks.

You know I don't what's best.....setting in an empty shell of a car and making engine noises or setting on a complete pan without the body an actually running the engine. If I can figure out how to mount the steering I might drive it around the neighborhood

Anyone know of a body shop in the DFW area that could finish this project? Maybe the 3rd times the charm.

Man that sux you are having so many problems with body shops.
