thebucket- the bucket, AKA Paul B., is a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2003. He has been into Bugs since he could talk. At the age of 8 his mother Sally, got him a subscription to Hot VW's. She has always been very supportive of his hobby. In fact she bought him his first car. A slammed, primered red 69 bug in 1994. While little was done to the car over the year he owned it, Paul misses it dearly, and claims that he would sell his current Oval if the car surface. After his graduation from college, Paul purchased his first 1955 oval. It had sat in a field for 20 years, and was in need of some attention. Shortly after replacing the pans, he stumbled upon a 54, that he believed would be a better candidate, so some swapping was done. A year later while still collecting parts for the Oval, Paul came across an OG 1955 Sunroof car in California. This being the car of his dreams he jumped on it. Currently Paul has gathered a Berg 5 spd, a Conklin 2332, 5 earlies (3x 4.5's and 2 deep 6ers), And a whole host of rare and REAL accessories for the 55. He plans on a California Look resto, but with a twist. He has really taken his time on the car to ensure that any work done on the bug is the best available. He plans on p reassembling it in the near future, so he can drive it over the summer, to ensure that all is right with the car, and to his liking, before PAINT, POWDERCOAT, and INTERIOR..... He was one of the founding members, and current moderator of the World Famous DLK........................................
